While visiting Essence.com, I began browsing through the ‘Star Gazing’ photos and came across this picture of Shingai Shoniwa, a woman whom I have never heard of, but got to know rather quickly after doing my research. Her style is fierce, rebellious, and also quite inspiring.

I saw these haute pics of Singer Ciara at one of my favorite websites, ConcreteLoop, and had to share the chic and sophisticated side of Ms. Ciara. This fabulous photo was taken as she arrived at the MOCA New 30th Anniversary Gala on November 14, 2009, in Los Angeles.

I love our First Lady’s style more and more each time I see her!  I was reading through The Cut when I came across recent photos added to The Michelle Obama Look Book.

As I was getting to ready to post this week’s Haute Look, I noticed that several blogs had beat me to it. I was going to choose someone else, but thought about the saying “great minds think alike” and decided Rihanna has got to be front and center on Style+Trend Report!

Amber Rose was recently announced as the new face of Boadicea The Victorious, a new fragrance by Michael Boadi. Ms. Rose was spotted in London to help promote the new fragrance. I love the shades! Most can’t pull that look but Amber definitely has the attitude and confidence to rock just about anything. Congrats Amber!
