While visiting Essence.com, I began browsing through the ‘Star Gazing’ photos and came across this picture of Shingai Shoniwa, a woman whom I have never heard of, but got to know rather quickly after doing my research. Her style is fierce, rebellious, and also quite inspiring. She is a Zimbabwean native best known as the front woman for the UK-based Indie Rock band, the Noisettes. After listening to a few songs {here}, I am even more fascinated by this woman. Below are some pictures I pulled from various websites that show the fabulously unique style of Shingai Shoniwa.
